Welcome to the New Wave TKD website.

New Wave Taekwon-Do and Kick Boxing are exciting martial arts schools which are run by chief Instructor, Mr Mark Bishop 4th Degree.

By providing a welcoming and friendly approach, the schools aim to provide instruction on the Korean martial art of Taekwon-Do for both adults and children. 

We also do Kick Boxing (from age 12 yrs +), Nunchaku-Do weapon training, Ladies self-defence.  We encourage all family members to come along and spend quality time together - what better incentive for your son or daughter to have Mum and Dad training alongside them.

Children are taught stranger awareness and anti-bullying tactics.

People with disabilities are welcome.  The chief Instructor currently holds a British Sign Language Stage 1 certificate.

By joining New Wave TKD or Kick Boxing we aim to increase your self-confidence, self-awareness and overall fitness.

We have provide visits to local schools to teach about stranger awareness, anti-bullying tactics and demonstrations of TKD and Kick Boxing to promote a more healthy lifestyle through physical training, mind and body.

We operate under strict child protection guidlines which are overseen by the Professional Unification of Martial Arts (puma-uk.com) and our Instructors and Assistants are CRB checked.
