Welcome to the New Wave TKD website.

New Wave Taekwon-Do and Kick Boxing are exciting martial arts schools which are run by Mr Mark Bishop 4th Degree.

By providing a welcoming and friendly approach, the club aims to provide instruction on the Korean martial art of Taekwon-Do for both adults and children. 

We also do Nunchaku-Do weapon training, Ladies self-defence and Kick Boxing (from age 12 yrs +).  We encourage all family members to come along and spend quality time together - what better incentive for your son or daughter to have Mum and Dad training alongside them.

Children are taught stranger awareness and anti-bullying tactics.

People with disabilities are welcome.  The instructor currently holds a British Sign Language Stage 1 certificate.

By joining New Wave TKD or Kick Boxing we aim to increase your self-confidence, self-awareness and overall fitness.

New Wave TKD & Kick Boxing covers the Cornwall area with clubs in Liskeard, Bodmin, Torpoint and Callington with over 250 members. 

We have provide visits to schools to teach about stranger awareness, anti-bullying tactics and demonstrations of TKD to promote a more healthy lifestyle through physical training.

We operate under strict child protection guidlines which are overseen by the Professional Unification of Martial Arts (puma-uk.com) and our Instructors and Assistants are CRB checked.
